1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrueFTP ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with notice provided via email or the Service dashboard.

2. Service Description

TrueFTP provides a managed FTP hosting service with S3-compatible backend storage, version control, analytics, and related features. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive for 99.99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it updated.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Illegal activities or distribution of illegal content
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights
  • Harassment, spam, or abuse of other users
  • Any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
  • Exceeding your allocated storage or bandwidth limits without authorization

5. Payment and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis, typically within 7 days of the initial charge. Pricing may change with 30 days notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files and data you store on TrueFTP. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data as necessary to provide the Service. Our platform, software, and infrastructure are proprietary and may not be copied or reverse-engineered.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueFTP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the billing dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
